yes, i know

...i'm a bitch.

dear group,

i've send an email last week about checking the calibration of the micropipettes of each lab. since i did not receive any feedback from none of you, i will suppose that you've done your "homework" and there are no micropipettes to be send for calibration. tuesday i will send the ones from the biology lab for calibration. so any of you who still want to have their micropipettes calibrated, hurry up. tuesday is the deadline, non negotiable.

again, i have to remind all chemists that the material/consumables in the cabinet 4, 5, 8 and 23 belong to the biology lab. this is not self-service! buy your own falcon tubes, eppendorfs, gloves, tissues, boxes, tips, etc. we are not your personal shoppers! if you need something from vwr (which can be cheaper than buying at the biozentrum and from which we have an account), we can place the order for you. just give us a list.

other random things:
a) the tips boxes (violet ones from vwr) belong to labs 102 and 108 (biology labs).
b) do not use the cryogenic boxes (blue carton boxes) for any other purpose than for keeping samples in the -80°C freezer.
c) erlenmeyers found in our cabinets have to be returned. they are used for cells cultures and can not be used for any other purposes - specially not for handling chemicals.
D) if eventually you need material from us (cylinders, beakers, boro bottles...) use them, but afterwards wash them and place them back to where they belong (i.e. respective cabinets). i've found empty bottles, dirty cylinders and beakers in the chemists labs. we are not your maids and this is material used on a daily basis!

i hate to be the one always "complaining", but i also hate to be the one to "pamper" you all, all the time!

e.

p.s. j., you are forbidden to mock me about this email!

sempre que me ausento do lab por alguns dias, deparo-me sempre com um cenário apocalíptico no meu regresso. um pouco de ordem na casa e um puxão de orelhas não fazem mal a ninguém.
